Your Questions About Web Host Provider
Donald asks…
How to change my web/email hosting provider?
My company website was built by a company who also host the site. I have one email address as part of my package as well. The email service is awful a lot of my emails get bounced. I am trying to move away to something more reliable. I am a complete non-techie what do I have to do?
admin answers:
Carry out a search on the web for webhosting sites. If you are based in the UK, I would recommend www.easyinternetsolutions.co.uk
They explain their services quite simply and if you email and ask how to switch, I think they will be able to answer your question. I find them pretty quick to respond.

What’s a good and cheap web hosting provider? looking for something which can support databases and ASP.NET.?
I’m doing a site for my high school class reunion, so I don’t need much in the way of bandwidth. Also would like to be able to add a lot, since I’m a recent computer science grad, and I’m looking to put together a portfolio.

I recommend either Godaddy Economy or the Deluxe plan:
https://www.hosttell.com/godaddy/
(prices from $4.74/month – $6.99/month)
You just have to select windows hosting (instead of linux which is selected by default). This option is located on top of the plans description. I would even recommend you the Deluxe hosting, because it allows you to host multiple domains on the same account, so you can add your personal site or others to the same account. (you just have to buy additional domain names).

Web Hosting Provider – Who gets my business?
Our company has three different sites. One of which has a database on it which will need security for eCommerce. I would like to have a dedicated server, but the prices that I have seen are way over my budget. I would like to keep it under $100 a month. Does anyone have first hand experience with a web host provider that offers excellent customer service (that is in America & speaks English) and 0% downtime??? I appreciate your help.
