Your Questions About Web Host For Frontpage

Form Help!?
I am working on a website and do not know how to recieve information from my website form to my e-mail account. Microsoft FrontPage says I need to check the servers. I am stuck.
Note: I am using g-mail as my e-mail for this form and I am using freewebs as my web hosting site. I do not mind changing web hosts but I do not want to pay anything.

Microsoft Frontpage *always* says that…. It’s a minor inconvenience, but if you ignore it, everything should work.
When you get the error message, just click the ‘no’ button (meaning, *no, do not remove …. Email / person from list….*)
NOTE: This works best if you ONLY select ’email’ in the form. If you try to mix & match, you might run into problems.

Website Help?
Hi I’ve been trying to make my own website which I was successful but dang it doesn’t look very pretty or eye catching. One problem that I’ve come across is SEO and I’ve heard that Google does not recognize my website because of the amount of “%20” in the URL address for my pages. For example:
example.com/CAD%20Drafting%20FAQS.htm
I don’t know how or why but how do I get rid of %20 out of my URL? I used MS FrontPage 2000 to make my website if that makes a difference.
Also my web hosting server is coming up for renewal and I want to change hosting servers. What are some good criteria to use to choose a good provider for the dollar?
I appreciate your help and suggestions. Thank you.
admin answers:
%20 is used to replace a space in the file name. Your file is named “CAD Drafting FAQS.htm” so in an URL it appears as “CAD%20Drafting%20FAQS.htm”. You could use underscores (_) instead of spaces. They are much prettier in an URL and I’m pretty sure they are OK with SEO. So rename your file to “CAD_Drafting_FAQS.htm” and the URL will become “example.com/CAD_Drafting_FAQS.htm”

What is a good free webhost with no ads that allows you to edit the HTML?
I’ve found and even signed up for web hosts that require you to upload the content from programs like Dreamweaver or Microsoft Frontpage. I do not own either one nor do I know anything about them. I’m just looking for a webhost that allows you to edit the HTML- that is free and ad free. ( A long time ago I used expage…it had ads and many cons about it. However, I liked the way you could directly enter the HTML. )
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Google pages is my favorite, you can even upload your own full HTML pages, or you can edit the templates you make. It also has a nice wysisyg editior. If you have a google account already you can sign in with that otherwise you can make a new one for free and no ads.
