Your Questions About Google Web Hosting
Jenny asks…
How much does it cost to advertise with Google & Yahoo search engines?
Hi,
I want to know if I want to advertise as a web hosting reseller with Yahoo & Google search engines, how much it is cost approximately. I mean PPC. They don’t refer exactly to this issue.
If you have any experience relating this matter please share it with me.
By the way, in your opinion which of them is more effective?
In advance, I thank you for your generous time.
Regards
Is it possible by about 5 cents PPC?
admin answers:
Well it depends on the popularity of that keyword, I assume web hosting would be a popular keyword and therefore more expensive.
I do some of this for a local real estate company and average 20cents a click per keyword with 2cents being the lowest and the highest costing 33 cents. For these two sites.

Google is where most people go to search so that’s where we advertise. That being said I have had no experience with Yahoo. I would recommend reading up on it before jumping in, you could save yourself some money. Just Google “PPC tips”. Good luck.

I want to find a web host that will allow me to write a website and also use the google Apps API. Any ideas?
Ideally, the solution would work out of the box without a great deal of MX record manipulation.

Donald asks…
Where should I go for website hosting?
I’ve had a domain name for quite a while, and right now I’m using google sites to host my website, which is a free service. Right now I’m a computer science major, and I’d like to put some web programming to some use. google sites does not allow script on their pages, so I’m wondering if there are any free decent web hosting companies in which I can create whole sites through html/javascript/… so on? If not, any really cheap ones?
admin answers:
I’ve been using Hostgator- works a charm 🙂 You get unlimited domains, space and bandwidth – which is always nice. You also get MySQL databases and so on – so if you’re programming with them (now or later) you can mess with them. Their support is also great.
They are cheap and they are quality. You can use the coupon code 1CentReview (got it from here: https://hostgator-review.info ) to grab the first month for $0.01 – virtaully free.
Good luck with it all!
Sandy asks…
Why do you need to have a web site hosting for a website?
do websites like google and such have to have a website hosting service in place????
As you can see i’m new to the website making:P?
admin answers:
A host is simply somewhere for the website to call home.
It needs to be accessible to the outside world if you want others to be able to view it.
A simple web site would need web server software, such as Microsoft PWS, Microsoft IIS or the more popular Apache.
There are versions of Apache for Linux and Windows.
Because most people don’t have a fast uplink, it is ususal for people to rent space on a webserver housed in a data centre which has high speed connections to the internet.
I would recommend easyspace.com
