What are the best web hosting in the UK for the following requirements?
Hi there.
I’m looking for a reasonably priced web hosting service that offers the following services;
-Domain name
-File uploads & downloads
-Streaming video
-Decent amount of file storage
-Ability to use existing websites made by web-design software packages
If anybody knows of some, please point me in the right direction!

Hosting24.com has most of that. They give you a free domain, everything unlimited (bandwidth, hosting space, + MySQL databases etc), and they cost less than $8 per month if you pay up front for the whole year.
They do not require you to pay a year’s worth of service up front, but it’s cheaper if you do (only $4/mo). You can also use a coupon (’25OFF’) to get 25% off the monthly, 3-month, and yearly payment options.
Hosting24.com works fine for me. But they don’t have everything you listed, so you may be better off looking for a different one.

What is the best web hosting referral company?
Essentially I want to make money by referring people to a web hosting company. I heard hostgator was really good, but are there any better ones? Which one’s give you the most money per referral, and what do you guys recommend?

Www.GrowingDollar.com has some good sites that pay you a lot for referrals. One of their websites they list pays you $1 per referral you get to sign up. This is probably the best you can do online.
