Either way though, both will give you the best support of any hosting company around. Dreamhost is employee owned, so they seem like they truly care about their customers. Hostgator has awsome support. I have accounts with Dreamhost, Godaddy, Hostgator, and BlueHost. Withouth a doubt, of all those Dreamhost and Hostgator by far have been the best.

I am looking to build a website for my sports team. I need a web host with an easy website builder and the ability to let people download attachements on the site (i.e. Fixture lists, nomination form for player of the year, etc)
I have looked at Moonfruit but has no download facility without subscribing to premium service and geocities has now been stopped.

As you say you need an easy website builder then i hate to say it but webs.com is the easiest host and site builder to use for a beginner.
Reliability is a bit of a problem but it is free.
