Your Questions About 1 And 1 Web Hosting
Mark asks…
How can I get web hosting from my internet provider?
Yahoo geocities is free (ads will be shown on your finished page)
if you’re looking to pay… (no ads) 1&1 has really good prices for hosting & domains
godaddy claims to have good prices but I went with 1&1 for the hosting and domain deal.

Godaddy and 1&1 are good places to register domain names, but some of my friends have some problems with their web hosting services. It is very important that your service be uptime (functioning and available for use) . It means you can access your account whenever you want to update your web pages, and users can enter your website whenever they refer to your site address. If your hosting service is not uptime it can be catastrophic!
If you want to start your website I recommend purchase your domain and hosting together. In this way it is possible to get your domain for free. Some hosting services offer this gift today.
As an experienced webmaster I recommend BH web hosting which I’m sure it would work for you and fulfill all your requirements. They have a really great offer for hosting & I have used them for over 3 yrs now, and have never had a single problem with them.

Is there a good and reliable web hosting service available which supports Struts 2 framework?
I googled a lot on this and could find very very few web hosting services which support Struts (but Struts 1.1 & Struts 1.2).
I am desperately looking if there is any such hosting service available which would support Struts2?
Thanks

I think www.NetworkJuiceHosting.com supports Struts2 , plus their hosting plans are Affordable and Reliable.
James asks…
Joomla 1.5 FTP settings on yahoo web hosting?
Though I am certain I use the correct user and password in the form of user@mysite.com and set the right ftp address ftp.mysite.com.
I just cant seem to make Joomla connect through ftp… any ideas?
(using filezilla or IE it works just fine)
admin answers:
Perhaps Yahoo web hosting doesn’t support Joomla. You can ask it from them. At present I use Joomla with: https://bluehost-plan.atspace.com .
They have a really great offer for hosting & I have used them for over 3 yrs now, and have never had a single problem with them.
Good Luck!
Laura asks…
Does anyone know a web host that would allow me to upload my website?
I have a website which is with Freewebs. As it is a linked web page it seems unlikely that it will be picked up by Google or any of the other search engines.Does anyone know a hosting company which has easy FTP as I like my current website and don’t want the hassel of designing a new one I just want to transfer the host.I was looking at 1+1 hosting which seem good and have good feedback but its the ease of transfering the website intact that’s the issue(I didn’t design it and think I would be a bit lost if I had to start from scratch).Thanking you good people in advance
