Is Yahoo! blocking the answers I receive?

Hi, recently asked When will “Yahoo! Small Business Web Hosting” provide PHP5? The problem is that I received an answer and I can’t see it. I wonder if Yahoo! is blocking the answer because the person said something against Yahoo! Web Hosting. I received in my emails the notification NEW ANSWER from Francisco C, and the beginning of the message: Hi, When choosing a web host it’s of course important to consider the cost… But when I try to see the full answer, is says Answers (0) No answers yet. That is not true because I received the notification of a new answer in my email and from my profile, in My Questions section, I have this:

I wonder if Yahoo! is blocking the answer because they considered that the content would affect their business or would encourage me to stop using Yahoo! Small Business Web Hosting, since I am a user of this service since about 18 months ago. I am starting to lose my faith in the transparence of Yahoo! Answers system. Could anyone explain me what is happening? Thanks.
Also, since I got a NEW ANSWER from Francisco C, then his name is a link to watch his profile. But when I click on that link, I receive this message:

The information you are looking for is not available.

I wonder if Yahoo! blocked him because he said something against Yahoo! Small Business Web Hosting. But I want to see the answer that Francisco C sent to me. Is Yahoo! blocking messages that would affect their marketing system, or is this a problem with Yahoo! Answers system, that just lost a message that I received?

Domain / Email hosting transfers?

Ok, so I can transfer a domain from GoDaddy to Yahoo! Small Business web hosting, right? Can I do the same with e-mail?

Example: If I buy example.com on GoDaddy and transfer it to Yahoo to use with the small business web hosting plan, do I get my email addresses from Yahoo ending in @example.com?

thank you for your reply, i did not mean subdomains but different domain e.g. www.mydomainame1.com & www.mydomainame2.com. on other web hosting providers a new domain is added as a subdomain on the main one e.g. mydomainam2.com is pointing to mtdomainame2.mydomainname1.com

Why is Yahoo! ANSWERS removing my questions?

I have identified the three of my questions have been removed, AND I NEVER DID IT! They have been automatically removed by the system and I don’t know why. Is it because they did not receive answers or because if they received answers, it was spam? I DID NOT REMOVE THEM! These are the questions I am talking about:

What’s the best UK web hosting provider?

Hello,

I am looking for a web hosting provider to host my web site, and also to provide me with a domain name.

My web site will only have about 3 or 4 page and will only be about 1MB in total, therefore I only really need a basic package. It will have no programming or server code, it will only have basic html and css.

I have look at various web sites, and found that 1and1 is very cheap but I have read very bad reviews about it. It is only £1.99 a month for the basic package, which doesn’t go up after a certain amount of years which is good, and a .co.uk domain name is £2.49 a year for 1st year and £2.99 a year after that.

I have also had a look at uk-cheapest which has about the same sort of package but costs slightly less at £1.59 a month and a .co.uk domain name is £2.79 a year. They seem to have slightly better reviews but again, not great.

I would really appreciate any input and your thoughts and expereinces on these companies or any other companies you would recommend.

And just to remind you, I only really want to spend about £2.00 a month.

I want to obtain a webhosting and domain provider but I do not do internet financial transactions. There are far too many dishonest advertisers and many are having bad experiences. I would like yahoo but they appear to only deal with internet transactions. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where a person can get a reputable host for a reasonable price?

I hve downloaded yahoo site builder tool 2.6, as i was looking for some easy site builder. i hve just created a very normal and simple 4 pages…
up to now everything is OK…..

but ‘d real problem starts from publishing via yahoo site builder.
when i hit publish button,
* it is asking me yahoo id and password
* after login , it shows ” connecting to server ”
* THE REAL PROBLEM – for publishing to my registered domain.
Instead of showing my domain name, box is showing me https://in.geocities.com/(my user id) [[which is not my domain]] and i really dont knw that from where it is comming…..

if i still press ok it gives me error. (To publish using Yahoo! Site Builder, you first need to sign up for a Yahoo! Web Hosting or Merchant Solutions account.)

already i hve a paid domain name than why i m getting a problem…

I’m trying to start a personal .com website but am getting a bit swamped by the amount of options and unclear information on this subject. Most review sites seem to be either biased or not current enough.

I am currently based in the UK and will likely be paying for the hosting in pounds, but I will be moving to America for the next few years, to return every couple of months or so, and am a little unsure as well of where I should choose to have the server based.

This will likely be a small operation with little traffic, and I’m only really interested in having enough space to upload a small picture gallery. I would however like the option of adding on other domain names if I branch out later.

I am an HTML/graphic design novice, but I have some very handy friends. The easier it is to use, the better!
