How can i create a custom website using Yahoo Web Hosting?
I recently bought a domain via Yahoo web hosting service, i really don’t like there site building program, I am a noob to this but how can I create an html site without using the yahoo site builder?
Dreamweaver I assume.
And when i do make the site, how do I upload it to my site(domain)?

You can also use the wordpress software, it is more known as a blogging software, but you can change settings and such to make it look like a website. If you use any other software other than their web builder (yahoo’s that is), you would have to upload your files that the software produces for you via FTP. You can use a free FTP client like filezilla.

Make Membership Web Site Using Yahoo Web Hosting?
Does anybody know how to make a membership website using Yahoo Web Hosting, and the Yahoo Site Builder program? I have tried many different companies, and they all state the same thing, no Zen Optimizer, no Ion Cube Loader, no Membership site. Does anyone know what will work?

I switched over to Host Gator, and built my web site through WordPress Direct. It turned out great, and it was totally easy. Very much worth it. You can get a domain at Host Gator for under $5 a month, or under $10 if you want an unlimited account.

Changing my Yahoo Web Hosting Domain name and address?
I have a website through Yahoo Web Hosting. I will be changing the name of my company in May, 2009. My domain name is the current name of my company. How can I change the domain name and keep the site up and running?

Depending on how Yahoo set up the hosting, just put your website files into the new directory of your new domain name. It’s a very easy thing and contacting Yahoo for specific directions would probably be your best bet.

Can you publish a web site on yahoo web hosting using Webplus x2?
Gettng ready to publish my first web site and I am not sure if Yahoo will easily host the page i’ve created with webplus x2?

Yes, they will host it without problem. The Webplus sites need no extra features in hosting.
