In the over-crowded hosting market, it can be a daunting task to find a cheap and reliable company to host your website. All the companies promise stable service, but which ones are best for you and your needs? There are several different ways to find hosting that suits your budget but also provides great service. Let me answer your question by showing you what you need to know about finding good web hosting.
My suggestion is do not buy web hosting based on trust from what you see on the web hosts main page. There is nothing worse than spending all your time and effort building a great web site only to find out that your web host is down all the time or you have to wait an hour on hold just to get customer service on the line to help you fix a simple issue. Visit https://www.top15hosting.com and look through the independent and customer reviews. Look at the rankings of the top rated and do some comparison based on your needs. Do a little research before buying web hosting and you can avoid throwing your money away.
The common mistake when looking for website hosting is to just quickly browse the web and find the cheapest web hosting company they can find. They don’t take on board the fact that without choosing the best cheap host they could run into potential problems which will actually cost them more over time. Some cheap hosts oversell their servers so you will experience slow website response times and lots of downtime. Another common problem with cheap hosts is that they can’t offer the same level of support, so you can find yourself having long hold times and poor quality tech support.

Paul asks…
Cannot access yahoo hosted web site from China?
We use yahoo small business’s web hosting product. Just realized that the web site hosted by yahoo small business cannot be accessed from China. It seems the web-site is blocked by Chinese government. Does that mean if we want to do business with customers in China, we should NOT choose Yahoo‘s web-hosting solution? Any suggestion is appreciated.

admin answers:
It is probably the specific IP of the server your site is hosted on that is blocked, if you could get Yahoo! Small biz to move your site to another server that could help.
Your other options are to move to another hosting company altogether, or even host your site in China if most of your site audience is actually from there.
Check out the following blog to learn more about ways to keep your site unblocked in China:
For proxy solutions I recommend https://www.proxy4china.com ; however you obviously can’t ask from your customers to visit your site through a proxy so getting your site unblocked should be your work.

Joseph asks…
How do I host our membership database on the web.?
I have an existing MS Access database, and I also have a Yahoo web
hosting account. Is there a way to upload the access database to the
web site, or export the content to another format and access it through the web site? Thanks for any help or general suggestions you can offer.

admin answers:
If your Yahoo web host is Asp/Asp.net ( Windows 2k or 2003 ), you can upload or FTP your database file to the host space ,and connect by ADO OR ADO.NET
But , If the host space is PHP ( Linux Server ) ,you have to output your Access date to MySQL database. Generally speaking,The PHP host is better than ASP Host ,Such as this website power by IPowerWeb Linux Host: https://host.joyfrosh.com
