Are server-side includes (SSI) available for Yahoo Small Business Hosting accounts?
I don’t want to use SiteBuilder to build my site within Yahoo Small Business Hosting and need to know if I can use my own web site template that includes server side include technology (SSI) for such items as a header/footer/menus/etc.

I don’t know if they are expressly allowed but I do know for certain that at least the include file ssi tag works. However, it will garble stuff like Yahoo store-tag links so your mileage may vary.

Have you tried Yahoo! Web Hosting for Small Businesses?
If so, do you reccommend it or would you reccomend someone else?

Yes, I do recommend it. We use it for our stain glass business and it is where we get 95% of our business (we do stained glass).
We can control the price of our advertising and web site and we get to decide where it pops up on Yahoo and Google searches.
