What are some of the best inexpensive ( <$5/mo ) web hosting services that include domain name registration?
I was looking at FatCow just now, offers unlimited storage, unlimited bandwidth hosting with domain name registration included all for $3.25/month. How is their service? Is there anything better out there? GoDaddy maybe?

Are common web hosting services like Godaddy the same as shared web hosting services?

I can only answer for GoDaddy as I’m a client. Yes. It’s shared hosting unless you purchased a dedicated hosting plan which is $$$
