Try writing lots of good content and they will eventually index it.

Thomas asks…

Can you have a web crawler on shared hosting?

Can you have a Web Crawler like Google‘s on Free Webhosting with php and would you have room? Also, I am writing own and Am a beginner and i need an algorithm…

admin answers:

You can try submit your page URL at https://www.google.com/addurl/?continue=/addurl
However, it can’t promise to crawl your page and show at the result pages.
That because of “Meta Tag” (each page HTML header, Subscript & keywords), page links and “Sitemap” to fetch Google-bot crawling your site.
Unless, the site real owner figure out all the pages / sub-folder of Meta tag for you but it’s a hard job.
Create a Sitemap protocol by HTML or TXT formatted for Google and need site owner verification at Google Webmaster…
You only can do is adding more links at your sharing page and the links are useful of your content these could be converted “Keywords” to fetch Google-bot before URL submit.

Lizzie asks…

How do places like google get themselves on the web?

Ok, so when you want to make a website you go and find someone to host you. But how do places like google and yahoo get themselves on the web so that anyone can acess them? Do they use a hosting person too? Feel free to be a technical as you want- I own a dictionary.
thank you for answering but how does google get itself up there- what do they do so that they are on the web. Who do they pay?

admin answers:

A website is a series of files located on a computer, that your browser opens in a way that is consistent. The computer is assigned an Internet Protocol address which allows other computers to find it. Recognising that remembering an IP address is ludicrously difficult, websites are registered with a DNS system, which assigns a domain to the IP address (eg google.com). Your browser then searches for the address you typed with a DNS system, then locates the IP address of the computer, and opens the files as a website. Providing you register with DNS server, anyone could host a website, in theory. DNS servers normally take around 24 hours to share information with each other following any changes.

Additional Information: Major internet companies like Google host their own website and domain name, so they do not pay anyone for the service.

Jenny asks…

Which free/cheap web hosting service is the best?

The three main things I am looking for are searchability on Google and other search engines, my own domain name, and ease of creation. Free is ideal, but if such a site does not exist, a cheap service would also be acceptable. Thank you!

admin answers:

There is no way to obtain a *FREE* domain name on the internet (unless someone pays for you of course).

Domain name, and hosting for that domain name are two separate fees. Domains can start at $9.99 while hosting is could range anywhere from $50 and upwards.

If you want a website that will still rank in searches and still be free, use x10hosting.com
The problem is with them is that they append onto their domain (no ads though),
for example your URL could be: myDomain.pcriot.com

Hope this helps!
