I have yahoo web hosting. Do I need to use WordPress or Movable Type blogs or can i create my own blog?
Can I create my own blog on the yahoo web hosting site or do I need to use one of those services? If so which one should I use? Do they limit certain things?

You can install WordPress or MT on your Yahoo Webhosting. My recommendation is to use WP: there’s a huge user base; tons of themes; and plenty of plugins.
WordPress.org is the same software as WordPress.com, only it’s hosted on your site.
Simply go to https://www.wordpress.org to download the software, then head over to https://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress#Famous_5-Minute_Install to do the five minute install.

I am currently taking over a website made in Yahoo! small business web hosting and need help. I don’t like the simplicity of the templates…that I can’t click and drag the items that I want and place things where I want. I want to use a website that I am putting together in iweb and be able to use my domain and everything and still host with Yahoo! I am such a newbie but want to get this quick!

Dude don’t host with Yahoo or iWeb. Their support is terrible. Go with inspirohost. They are great for newbies and will help you every step of the way.

Is it easy to use a web template with yahoo web hosting software?
I have a site that is hosted by yahoo. I used the Yahoo easy web designer. If I purchased a website template, how hard is it to use with yahoo. Can I just copy all the codes and that’s it? Or, is it more complicated?

It is all about the technologies used. Yahoo uses php and other scripts. So mostly your script will work and you have to compare the supporting technologies of yahoo for their hosting.
